Laminated Ply
A coloured Laminate is available for a quick turnaround for Dark Grey, Light Grey , Satin Black and Satin White , however hundreds of custom laminate colours are available. See our swatch page to see these colour options. It is double lined which reduces likelihood of any warping and protects the core ply for a lifetime of adventure.

Plain Ply :
Our plain ply Eucalyptus kits are a budget entry level material designed for self build customers. These will require sanding to the faces and edges, finishing can be 1 - 2 hours to get a high quality finish. These are designed to be oiled, wrapped, painted or can be left plain for a natural Scandinavian look. For a higher quality ply please check out our Laminated Ply Kits or our Buffalo / Hex board with Birch ply core.

Buffalo Board:
A Super strong Birch Ply core with a textured , hexagonal , high pressure laminate face. In terms of durability and industrial use this material is definitely the best to go for , with scratches and knocks shrugged off as result being very popular with mountain bikers.
Oak Tables & Worktops:
Our very popular 20mm Oak products go with all of our Kitchens by standard and there is an option to have them with our U-shape Cabinet units. Oak is a natural product, with that comes potential knots and lots of variation from batch to batch. We try and fill more significant knots, however with our Self build kits treating, oiling and sanding is encouraged for a full finish. With our pre assembled units, these will be fully treated by us
Oak Veneered Tambour doors, Window Panels, Roofs & Floors:
Similar to our solid oak products , some sanding and oiling is encouraged again for a full finish. These are thinner materials and couriering is not always possible with these items , with many things such as our Window panels, Roofs and floors being collection items only.
Laminated Birch Ply:
This is a higher quality and more expensive material as result of. For a while was not a material we were able to use but is now something we are able to get a hold of again however with longer lead time to our standard laminated ply.

Russian Birch is now illegal to source in the UK due to Sanctions. Latvian Birch can vary in quality with varying plugs in faces. Quality has changed due to supply issues with the Russian conflict. Russia had produced 80% of the world’s Birch Ply, tripling the price of the remaining supply.
